by Enric Pedrós,
FEMAC Cluster has participated in the Agrobiotech Innovation Forum 2026, held in Lleida over three days, with a programme of activities aimed at increasing the visibility of member companies, fostering business cooperation and creating new networking opportunities within the agri-industrial ecosystem.
From 27 to 29 October, FEMAC was present at Agrobiotech Innovation Forum 2026 with a shared stand alongside FEMEL, featuring the participation of member companies AGRIN'PULSE, AGRODEVICES, ARCUSIN, GILI GROUP, JYGSA, NOVADAR INNOVA and TEYME. Throughout the three-day event, the stand hosted various activities, company presentations and professional networking meetings, with innovation and collaboration as its main themes.
FEMAC's stand hosted several presentations and short talks delivered by cluster member companies, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their solutions, technologies and projects to industry professionals and visitors.
In addition, several member companies took part in interviews at the Diputació de Lleida stand, an initiative that helped raise awareness of their activities and the innovative solutions they develop.
One of the highlights of FEMAC's participation was the contribution of Enric Pedrós, FEMAC's cluster manager, at the Startup Arena stage, as part of the session "What can a cluster do that a company cannot do on its own?". The discussion explored the role of clusters in connecting industry and technology, the digitalisation of agricultural machinery, data management and the transformation of innovation projects into market-ready solutions.
Furthermore, IRTA organised an Infoday on the 2027 European funding calls, in which Enric Pedrós also participated as a member of the round table focusing on European funding opportunities to support innovation projects. The session provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the possibilities offered by European programmes and the collaboration opportunities available to develop new R&D&I projects.
Entrepreneurship also played an important role in FEMAC's participation in the event. Two participants from the Emprèn Agro Bio programme and one entrepreneur from previous editions of Emprèn 4.0 and Emprèn Agro Cat took part in the Entrepreneur's Corner, where they had the opportunity to present and showcase their projects: HidroLink, Pitaies Catalanes and Agrologiké.
In addition, a networking session was organised with entrepreneurs from the different editions of the Emprèn Agro Bio, Emprèn Agro Cat and Emprèn Bio Lleida programmes.
The meeting provided an opportunity for participants to reconnect, share updates on the current status and progress of their projects, exchange experiences and identify potential synergies and collaboration opportunities between their initiatives.
FEMAC's participation in Agrobiotech Innovation Forum 2026 has helped strengthen relationships with companies, professionals and organisations within the agri-industrial ecosystem, while increasing the visibility of the projects and initiatives promoted by the cluster.
FEMAC would like to thank everyone who visited its stand throughout the three days, the member companies that placed their trust in the cluster to take part in the different talks and round tables, and everyone who contributed to the success of the activities organised.
We would also like to thank the Diputació de Lleida for its support, as well as the Agrobiotech Innovation Forum organisers and Fira de Lleida for making this meeting point for the sector possible.
We conclude this edition with new connections, shared experiences and opportunities to continue working together to promote innovation and competitiveness in the agri-food industry.
